King Avenue Urban Intervention

2023-24

The NDC worked with the University District Organization (UDO) to identify community opportunities for low-cost, high-impact exterior improvements to beautify the public realm and encourage human-scale development.

The selected site is located on King and Forsythe Avenues in the area known as Peach District. Home to three local businesses – Master’s Touch Hair Salon, Cauldron Tattoo, and property owners Rose & Berry, the concept creates a programmable gathering space for the community.

After the final design review, the implementation is scheduled for Spring-Summer 2024!
