Meet our new NDC interns!

ColumbusNDC

Landscape Architecture interns Aidan Finelli (left) and Tyler White (middle), and former Architecture Intern Oscar Camacho-Cabrera (right).

Summertime is here and Neighborhood Design Center welcomes a few new faces to our team. Aidan Finelli is a recent graduate of OSU earning his Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture this May and plans to continue his academic journey this fall at the Pratt Institute pursuing a Master of Architecture degree. He aims to become dual licensed and has always been interested in the integration of elements of the two fields for future urban environments. Aidan is very excited to work on interdisciplinary projects at the Neighborhood Design Center as a landscape architecture/urban design intern this summer. Aidan enjoys learning languages (and hopes to travel abroad soon), electronic music, horror movies, and experimenting with design representations.

Tyler White is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture at OSU. Tyler is interested in environmental justice, green infrastructure, and landscape architecture as a tool to address climate change. He is also passionate about landscape architecture as an art and creating spaces that encourage people to engage with each other. When he isn't in the office, Tyler likes to explore local parks, play board games - he's working on his chess skills- and enjoys checking out the latest sci-fi films.

This time of year also signifies some staff departures. We want to congratulate Oscar Camacho-Cabrera on his recent graduation from OSU's Knowlton School of Architecture with a Master's of Architecture degree. Oscar will be taking his talents to Meyers + Associates. Stay tuned for more on our current interns and if you want to volunteer with NDC, be sure to sign up here.
